ACT is the official tourism promotional organization for Aroostook County and operates this website under an agreement with the Maine Office of Tourism (MOT), a government agency for the state of Maine. Please be aware that neither ACT nor MOT is responsible for the privacy practices of other such sites.     At ACT's discretion, beyond fulfilling the transaction for which the Information was supplied, ACT may use the Information for aggregate analysis. At ACT's discretion, Information may be shared within the Maine Office of Tourism.

  • CONTRACTORS
    At ACT's discretion, Information may be supplied to ACT contractors for ACT purposes.

  • MAINE TOURISM ENTITIES
    Name, physical mailing addresses (Street or PO Box, City, State, Postal Code, and Country) and survey data such as season of interest, month of interest, activities of interest and source of request, entered by visitors into this website may be provided to ACT's tourism related partners for follow-up mailing of vacation planning information only. An ACT representative may contact you as part of ACTs on-going customer service evaluation; or, when you have expressed an interest in a particular service offered by ACT. An ACT representative may also contact you via email with announcements regarding new features on this website, marketing surveys, or special offers that match your interests. All ACT E-messages offer an address to opt out of any further mailings.

ACT intends that the Information provided through this process will be utilized by the receiving entities described above, for purposes designed to promote Aroostook County as a travel destination.

ACT retains the right to cease sending Information through this process to any and all of the receiving entities described in the section above at any time whether for cause or convenience.

ACT is not responsible for the distribution policies of its partners.
