It’s the perfect time to visit local sugarhouses, watch the magic of maple sugaring in action, and stock up on gallons of liquid gold—pure Maine maple syrup. Known for its exceptional quality, Maine maple syrup is crafted with care, adhering to strict standards to ensure its rich flavor and golden hue. The state produces approximately 575,000 gallons of maple syrup annually, making it one of the top producers in the United States. Once you’ve brought home your jugs (yes, we know you're going to bring alot of syrup home with you!), the culinary possibilities are endless. From drizzling it over your morning pancakes to creating glazes for savory dishes like roasted meats, or even using it to sweeten soups, cookies, and snacks, maple syrup can infuse a touch of sweetness into meals all year long. Make every season feel like maple season

Who says every meal of the day can’t be sweet?

Every third Sunday in March, Maine celebrates Maine Maple Sunday to pay homage to “the official sweetener of Maine”.
