Golfing is the most fun with friends and with ten courses to play it can be hard to decide where to start. Try new greens and relax in the club house – this is a place you can play nine holes at the Caribou Country club in the morning and finish with another nine holes over to the Houlton Community Golf Club. Give it a shot – try new greens.
People rave about the greens here and you’re invited to experience them for yourself. Enjoy the courses with amazing views like Katahdin, 160’ drops like the 6th hole at Mars Hill Country Club, or just stay in the swing of thing by driving a bucket of balls on the range.
The 9-hole courses in Houlton, Caribou, Limestone, St. David, Portage Lake, and Fort Kent are each unique in their own way. Some visitors enjoy nine holes at their favorite course in the morning and another nine at a near-by course in the afternoon.
Spectacular views are found on the tee of the 6th hole at Mars Hill Country Club. It is a par 3 with a vertical drop of 160’ to the green below. Aroostook Valley Country Club features a pro shop in the United States and a clubhouse and course in New Brunswick, Canada. The Presque Isle Country Club is home to the largest golf tournament in Aroostook County, the annual Spudland Open. The remaining 18-hole course, Va Jo Wa is tucked alongside Pleasant Lake in Island Falls, but the back nine is uphill and affords views of Maine’s highest point, Katahdin.
