In celebration of Teddy Roosevelt's 159th birthday on Friday, October 27, come see Presque Isle Historical Society's fascinating Teddy Roosevelt artifacts on display at the Maysville Museum! The artifacts were handed down through Maine Guide's Wilmot Dow's family and ultimately donated to the Society and include Roosevelt's long-barrel Colt revolver, his birch bark moose call, and the red velvet and buffalo horn mirror that hung over the mantle at his Dakota ranch. There will also be a book signing by Andrew Vietze, author of "Becoming Teddy Roosevelt". While there, take in the Museum's other exhibits including Civil War memorabilia, bisque dolls and Frozen Charlotte, and more! Tickets $10.00 at the door. 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. All happening at the Maysville Museum at 165 Caribou Road, Presque Isle. FMI, call the Society at (207) 762-1151 or email email@example.com
