A Victorian Valentine in Presque Isle

Valentines’ Day is February 14. How will you celebrate it this year? The typical gift of flowers? Another box of chocolates? Why not think outside the box this year? Presque Isle Historical Society has a Victorian Valentine for you!

Celebrate 2018 Valentines’ Day at the 1875 Vera Estey House Museum with a special Victorian Valentine event. Hear a true tale of local Victorian love lost, learn about Victorian courting customs, enjoy a glass of champagne or sparkling cider, receive a free reproduction Victorian valentine, and the ladies also get a free carnation.

Two tours available on Wednesday, February 14: 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.; or 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

The 1875 Vera Estey House Museum is located at 16 Third Street in Presque Isle.
