Watson Settlement Bridge

Built in 1911, this is the Maine's youngest and northern-most covered bridge. It spans Meduxnekeag Stream, using timber trusses of the Howe design. Its spans 170 feet. In 1984, the bridge was closed to traffic when a new bridge was built. For more information and directions, contact the Maine Department of Transportation.
